Privacy policy

Live Hands is a notebook for your own poker sessions. This policy describes what the app stores and who can see it. It applies to the Live Hands website and the copy you add to your home screen.
Information from Google
Sign-in uses Google. When you tap Continue with Google, Google shares your email address and basic profile (such as your name and profile photo) with our authentication provider, Supabase. Live Hands shows the email address on the History tab so you can see which account is signed in. We do not ask for your contacts, calendar, Drive, or any other Google data, and we do not use Google user data for advertising.
Information you enter
When you use the app, we store the session details you type:
- Game stakes, buy-in, and add-ons, including when each add-on was added
- Session start and end times, and cash-out
- The text of each hand note
Hand notes are free text. Do not put passwords, payment card numbers, or other secrets in them. We do not use this information to advertise to you or sell it.
Information stored on your device
The browser on each device keeps a few things locally so a weak casino connection does not wipe what you are typing:
- An unsaved hand draft
- The last stakes and buy-in you used when starting a session
- Which keypad sections you collapsed
That data stays on the device until you save, clear it, or remove the site's data in the browser. It is not sent to our servers until you start a session or save a hand.
Supabase sets a cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Who can see it
Your sessions and hands are tied to your account. Database rules allow a signed-in player to read and change only their own rows. Other Live Hands users cannot see your notes.
We use these companies to run the app:
- Supabase stores your account and your session and hand records.
- Vercel hosts the website and receives standard request logs, such as IP address and browser type, when you load a page.
- Google handles sign-in, and also serves the typeface used on the site. Loading that font sends your IP address to Google.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to investigate abuse of the service. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Session and hand records stay until you delete them. Deleting a session deletes its hands. Deleting a hand removes that note. We do not keep a separate backup for you to restore later.
Signing out ends the sign-in cookie on that device. The Google-linked account record stays so you can sign in again. There is no separate delete-account button. Deleting your sessions removes the notes we store.
Children
Live Hands is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of Live Hands after that date means you accept the updated policy.
